PROFENDER SPOT-ON®

The big news for all feline small friend owners is that there is finally a "spot-on" all wormer for cats! For those of you that find tablet worming difficult – this is what you have been waiting for.

Profender is given by placing a liquid on the skin rather than giving tablets orally. It is the first of its kind in Australia because it protects against all three intestinal worms – hookworms, roundworms and tapeworms. In the past, spot-on wormers have been available, but did not treat all intestinal worms.

There aren't many things that our small friends can pass on to us humans but there is one main issue we need to worry about and that is WORMS. Humans living with small friends who are not wormed regularly are putting themselves and their family members at risk of contracting worms. Transmission of these parasites from your small friend to humans usually occurs from simple environment exposure, which can result in a range of symptoms from intestinal upset, blindness or more serious illness. This accidental infection of humans can be avoided with good personal hygiene and regular worming of our small friends.

Profender is available in different sizes to suit all sizes of cats. It is easy to apply which means no stress for your cat and no stress for you at worming time. Best of all, it means no worms for your cat!
